Asst. Professor - Rehabilitation teaches courses in the discipline area of rehabilitation and therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Rehabilitation provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Requires a PhD or terminal degree appropriate to the field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate and graduate levels and contributes to research In a specialized field. Provides evaluations, individual and group counseling, develops and implements treatment plans and offers information as it relates to rehabilitation, pre-vocational and/or vocational counseling.
Hourly rate $23 to $26
Requirements: Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from a CORE accredited Program whose program includes supervised clinical experience in a vocational setting of at least six months. CRC certification or CRC eligible.
