Asst. Professor - Rehabilitation jobs in Shreveport, LA

Responsibilities:
- Provide skills training to individuals in their homes, school and/or community.
- Assists LMHP with administering therapeutic treatment such as behavior modification and stress management
-Assist clients with identified goals from their individual treatment plans, such as but not limited to, anger management, stress management, depression, independent living skills, etc.
- Assist clients by linking them and their families with community resources that can benefit them
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Monitor client progress and document accordingly
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and community resources

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, education or criminal justice
- Valid license and ability to pass various background checks such as Motor Vehicle, OIG, DSW and criminal.
- Experience working with individuals with mental health disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Pay: $16.87 - $20.31 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
