As a dispensary Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient and compliant operation of our cannabis dispensary. You will work closely with the Dispensary Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain compliance with all relevant state and local regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities required but not limited to:
Opening and closing of the dispensary;
Oversight of the state verification system (Biotrack or Metrc);
Point-of-sale system oversight;
Delivery oversight;
Oversight of dispensary agents;
Recordkeeping;
Inventory management;
Transferring cannabis from the Product Vault to the Secure Processing Area
Dispensary agent training and supervision;
Compliance with the Act the Regulations;
Maintaining files subject to audit or inspection by the Department;
Notifying the Department of any change of information required to be reported to the Department;
Notifying the Department of a change in the employment status of all dispensary agents within five (5) business days after the change, including notice to the Department if the termination of an agent was for diversion of product or theft of currency;
Ensuring all locks and security equipment are kept in good working order;
Ensuring all security equipment is inspected and tested at regular intervals, not to exceed 30 calendar days from the previous inspection and test to ensure the systems remain functional;
Ensuring keys and/or pass cards, or similar devices, are not left in the locks and not stored or placed in a location accessible to persons other than specifically authorized personnel;
Other security measures, such as combination numbers, passwords or electronic or biometric security systems, will not be accessible to persons other than specifically authorized employees;
Maintaining a record of all completed employee training;
Ensuring dispensary agents do not access the Restricted Access or Limited Access Areas of the dispensary until provided proper orientation and training
