Sociology Adjunct

  • The Tri-County Technical College Arts and Sciences Division is seeking collaborative, energetic, and innovative Sociology Adjunct Instructors. Successful candidates will teach Introductory Sociology, Marriage and Family and/or Social Problem courses using systematically planned and delivered instruction for the program; maintain records of student academic progress and attendance, evaluate level of achievement, and assign grades for the program. Classes are offered during the day, evening, and at various Tri-County Technical College community campuses within Anderson, Oconee, and Pickens counties.  
     
    The Sociology Adjunct Instructor role is a part-time, non- benefited employment role. Adjunct Instructors are hired on a per semester basis. Successful candidates will be required to teach face-to-face instruction at one of our four community campuses (Anderson, Easley, Pendleton, or Oconee). The Fall 2024 Semester begins on August 10th.   Minimum requirements include a master's degree in Sociology or master's degree in any area and 18 graduate semester hours in Sociology.  Preference will be given to applicants with higher education teaching experience. About Us
