Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Asst. Professor - Special Education provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Asst. Professor - Special Education typically reports to a department head. This position is for a Paraprofessional in an Autism Classroom, located at the Franklin County Co-Op.
Applicant must have a Substitute Certificate or able to obtain one through the Missouri Department of Education (requires 36 or more college hours or 20 hour Frontline substitute course) or a valid Missouri teaching certificate.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Potential to earn additional pay with RBT Certification
