Job Description : The Athletic Communications Assistant assists the High Point University Athletics Department in developing and implementing comprehensive graphic design templates and post / pre-game stories with the goal of increasing the visibility of High Point University athletic teams and student-athletes.

• Job Duties : *Promote the mission of High Point University Athletics to all faculty, staff, students and to the community at large;
• Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Department; *Assist the Senior Director of Communications / Creative Services in disseminating information about High Point Athletics through the Department’s various social media outlets;
• Generate ideas to enhance the social media product online; *Ensure consistency and quality among graphic design and written work;
• Other duties as assigned.
• Preferred Qualifications : *Strong organizational skills; Experience with Adobe Cloud Suite; *Creativity and proficiency with X, Facebook, and Instagram;
• Willingness to work games on nights and weekends; *High energy; *Self-motivated and driven; *Positive and acceptive of constructive criticism;
• Mastery of basic computer skills.

Physical Demands : *Ability to thrive in a high pace environment; *Work some nights and weekends; *Available to travel with teams to away competition.
