Position Summary and Responsibilities Vassar College is seeking qualified candidates for an Assistant Athletic Trainer. The Assistant Athletic Trainer works under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Athletics for Sports Medicine and supervises the care of student-athletes competing in the College’s 25 varsity athletic programs and four varsity club sports.
This is an 11 or 12 month, full-time, benefit eligible position.
Vassar College sports medicine takes pride in a strong collaborative approach with our team physicians, health services, physical therapy group, and the strength and conditioning staff through weekly meetings, social outings, and an annual sports medicine summit in-service.
The sports medicine department has strong support from the administration and coaches for authority concerning medical decisions and serves as a first stop for approving practice and contest scheduling.
The athletic department administration is committed to providing a balanced schedule for all staff members with regular time-off, and an open-door policy to discuss professional goals and needs.

Compensation The starting annual base salary range for this position is $46,500-62,000.
