Founded in 2002, Eastside Prep was re-accredited by the Northwest Association of Independent Schools (NWAIS) in January 2019. Eastside Prep has grown from 17 students in 2003-2004 to a projected total of 540 students for the academic year 2024-2025.
Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and engaging Athletic Trainer/Athletic Department Assistant to provide exceptional care to middle and high school student-athletes while providing assistance to coaches, athletic directors, parents, and the broader EPS community on matters of injury prevention, rehabilitation, wellness, and health-related concerns. The Athletic Trainer will lead community efforts in safety/wellness education and provide operational support to the athletic department on a day-to-day basis. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to uphold confidentiality, manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in high-pressure situations, and maintain a flexible work schedule.
Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the Athletic Trainer/Department Assistant will adhere to a weekly schedule determined by the Director of Athletics, which will fluctuate according to the athletic season's demands. This is a permanent, 12-month, full-time position, with a start date of August 1st, 2024.
