Job Summary :
What an exciting opportunity to work with student-athletes within the school system as part of the Physical Therapy Department with Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital.
The ATC is responsible for providing outreach athletic training services for Moore County High School. Evaluate and treat athletic injuries, rehabilitate athletes, and recommend injury prevention strategies.
This includes practice and event coverage, traveling with the football and softball team as needed.
This role is responsible for administering and directing appropriate direct care services aimed at assessing and treating the athletic population.
The ATC is responsible for providing athletic training evaluations as directed by primary or team physician as outlined by Tennessee Athletic Trainer Law.
The ATC is also responsible for the development, administration, and supervision of the sports medicine program for their assigned school (s).
They evaluate athletes readiness to play and provide participation clearance when necessary and warranted. Collaborates with physician in order to develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs for athletic injuries.
