Athletic Trainer treats and prevents athletic injuries by developing therapies to reduce pain and improve mobility under the direction of a physician. Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Being an Athletic Trainer may require state license to practice. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports science or equivalent. Additionally, Athletic Trainer typically requires certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Athletic Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Qualification: Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field preferred, Bachelor’s degree required; athletic training experience with both men's and women's sports; teaching experience in Athletic Training or related area and American Red Cross CPR/First Aid Instructors Certificate. Application: Salary: 240 Days Teacher Salary Schedule & $2000 Athletic Stipend. Beginning Salary: $63,157.89 Ending Salary: $68,261.05
