Assists in exercise instruction and demonstration, patient evaluation and testing. Being an Athletic Trainer may require state license to practice. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in exercise science, sports science or equivalent. Additionally, Athletic Trainer typically requires certification as a Certified Athletic Trainer. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Athletic Trainer occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. To qualify, you must be a state licensed Athletic Trainer (ATC). A minimum of one (1) year of previous Orthopedic Athletic Trainer (ATC) experience is preferred.
Responsibilities: The Athletic Trainer (ATC)/ Physicians Extender will assist the Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in various aspects of patients’ medical treatment and care.
