Job Description Position Summary:- A Group Coach & Personal Training is responsible for providing Basic & Technical Cross Training & Strength Coaching and Conditioning.
- The schedule and complete record keeping according to standard operating procedures.
- Group Fitness Coach will spend the majority of their workweek member-facing, delivering either boxing training services, in Group or 1 on 1.
- Our Trainers/Coaches will be familiar with all aspects of Movement Athletics Culture, Brand, Philosophy and Training methods and will educate all members/clients to the same.
- A Coach at Movement Athletics is expected to be Prepared, Professional, and Personable for every session.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Develops safe, professional, exciting, and comprehensive training programs to ensure clients are satisfied with their workout program and remain motivated to attain their personal fitness goals.
- Monitors and instructs clients during boxing sessions on the safe & effective use of training equipment & partners.
- Conducts consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening, Medical History, & goal setting to assess and recommend training programs.
- Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
- Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
- Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry.
Position Requirements:- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of Group or Personal coaching experience (preferred).
- Certified Coach or Extensive Experience (or ready to learn, research outside of on clock training and level up fast).
- Willingness to Obtain Certification & Continue education OUTSIDE of on job experience to bring value to community.
- CPR and AED Certified.
- Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition & program design.
- Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and be able to bend, stand, jump, crawl reach, climb, push, pull, and lift to 50 pounds.
