Position Overview:

As a Real Estate Paralegal on the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorney and clients ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and overall smooth transactions for all parties involved. If you're a thrill-seeker with a passion for excellence and efficiency and a sense of adventure (because it's never a dull ride), this role is tailor-made for you!

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Manage 30 transactions from post-attorney review to closing with the assistance of lead attorney
• Conduct due diligence, including OPRA searches, title searches, etc., uncovering hidden treasures and potential pitfalls
• Collaborate with multiple parties (clients, attorneys, paralegals, realtors, title company, lenders, etc.) to ensure smooth closings
• Manage inspection contingency reviewing inspection reports and negotiating through a resolution
• Draft conveyance documents
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars and answering phone calls
• Make our clients feel like we got this, because we do!

Qualifications and Characteristics:

• 2-3 years of real estate paralegal experience
• Paralegal certification is a plus, not required
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Portuguese is a plus
• Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle high-stress situations with grit and grace
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive and solution oriented
• Ability to operate independently
• Growth mindset and leadership mentality - the sky's the limit!
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial
• Tech savvy (experience with case management systems is a plus)
