The office of Tonacchio, Spina & Compitello is currently seeking a full-time Litigation Associate. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated independent thinker with exceptional attention to detail, excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment. predominant practice in family and criminal law, is preferred. Experience with general liability matters including, civil, special civil, small claims court, landlord-tenant, out of court negotiations.

Candidates must be admitted to the New Jersey Bar with 3 year minimum law firm experience.

The position requires someone who is able to learn and apply the law, relate to day to day problems and creatively formulate solutions. The ideal candidate will possess common sense and ability to deal with people in real-world situations.

Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and to establish work priorities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work professionally with court officials, judges, attorneys and the general public, and to maintain effective working relationships.
• Ability to work within established systems and processes involving extensive collaboration with other attorneys, paralegals and office staff.
• Work to generate new clients through individual and firm-wide networking and marketing efforts.
• Comfortable meeting with clients and public speaking.
• Self-motivated and entrepreneurial.
• Commitment to maintaining a high-level of proficiency in the most current and advanced legal techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
