Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Retail Merchandiser to join our team. As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are properly displayed and stocked in retail stores. Your role will involve inventory control, retail sales, market analysis, and visual design.

Responsibilities:

- Implement merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales

- Assess product placement and display effectiveness

- Ensure that products are properly stocked and rotated according to inventory control guidelines

- Collaborate with store managers to develop and execute merchandising plans

- Use Point of Sale (POS) systems to track sales and inventory data

- Supervise and train store staff on merchandising techniques

- Communicate with vendors regarding product availability, promotions, and marketing materials

- Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and complete assigned tasks

- Assist with visual design elements such as signage, banners, and promotional displays

Skills:

- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and ensure proper product placement

- Knowledge of retail sales principles and market trends

- Proficiency in using POS systems for sales tracking and inventory management

- Ability to create and interpret schematics for product displays

- Experience supervising or training store staff is a plus

- Excellent communication skills to interact with store managers, vendors, and customers

- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

- Understanding of visual design principles for creating attractive displays

Note: This is a paid position.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 39 per week
