We are in need of the position:

• System Installation Technician (with optional time as a showroom Sales Consultant).

General duty of the position include:

• Installation of home and commercial audio-video equipment including wiring, racks, system devices, displays, speakers, and video conferencing systems.
• Program and / or installation of digital apps, and control devices.
• Experience testing of system components to assure system functionality.
• Responsible for maintaining assigned equipment inventory and tools.
• Provide daily communication to the team and customers.
• Follow and maintain proper safety practices.
• Comprehension of construction prints, engineered drawings, user guides, and product specification sheets.
• Additional and optional opportunities include on-site sales consultations, and working in the showroom as a sales consultant for a limited time each week.

Preferred candidates will have more of the following skills:

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience using the ‘tools of the trade’ for A/V, electronics, and network related products: wire strippers, crimpers, compression tools for varying types of wire and cable, soldering tools...etc.
• Familiarity with installation and configuration of common industry-leading solutions such as Control4, OvrC, Savant, Crestron, Lutron.
• Technical capability, professionalism, punctuality, self-motivation, self-discipline, focus, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain the required attributes while under pressure from deadlines.
• Control4 knowledge and certification.
• Network certification (IE: CCNA, PCNA, UBRSS, or similar).
• Experience with high end electronics.

Requirements:

• Maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Local travel required, and company vehicle provided. (Wage can be adjusted to compensate if you have your own work vehicle -- must be approved).
• High school degree or equivalent (higher education preferred)

• $30,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year (based on experience, certificates, and additional considerations)

Supplemental Pay:

• Commission pay in addition to hourly wage

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
