Audio Visual Technician responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Being an Audio Visual Technician coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues. Additionally, Audio Visual Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Audio Visual Technician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     We are looking for an AV Install Technician for our Indianapolis branch whose attitude, skills, and work ethic will embody our mission “to provide a fantastic customer experience”.     What are your responsibilities?

    • Install audio, video, control systems, video conferencing equipment, etc.

    • Rack fabrication

    • Pull and terminate a variety of cables

    • Read drawings/blueprints

    • Service and system maintenance

    • Other tasks as assigned

    Does experience count?

    • Education: Associates degree is preferred, but not required. We take into account your experience/skill level and what you bring to the table as an individual.

    • Customer Service Experience: A must! As you can see our customers are #1 and we need someone who can take care of them, and treat them as such.

    • Attitude and Aptitude: Are key! We need someone who is eager to learn and comes to work ready to tackle any situation.

    • AV/IT Networking: 2 years of audio visual installation experience required

    • Must be able to lift over 50 pounds over your head, have a valid driver's license, and the ability to acquire a passport within 6 months of employment (if you do not already have one)
