Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking. Being an Audio Visual Technician coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues. Additionally, Audio Visual Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Salary: $24.61-30.00/ Depends on skill / qualificatiion
Experience Requirements: Two years of experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
Training Required: Proven knowledge and ability in mechanical and electrical repair, plus at least two of the following: basic electronic repair, basic welding, basic hydraulic repair, basic pneumatic repair. Commitment to continue training and education to improve maintenance skills. On-the-job training.
Basic Abilities: Good mechanical and electrical ability. Must be able to make necessary repairs on plant equipment. Good eye and hand coordination. Must write legible. Squat and lift fifty pounds. Must be proficient in reading a tape measure.
