Audio Visual Technician responsibilities include installing, configuring, operating, disassembling, and troubleshooting audio visual equipment. Performs production editing, routine maintenance, and inventory tracking. Being an Audio Visual Technician coordinates with clients on placement, integration, and ensures functionality of projectors, lighting, microphones, sound mixing, recording and video-conferencing equipment for live events and meetings. Responds to and resolves routine questions and technical issues. Additionally, Audio Visual Technician may require an associate degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.     Job Responsibilities
    As a Retail Visual Specialist, you will ensure the proper visual merchandising of the entire selling floor. You will be responsible for establishing professional, yet personalized rapport with all coworkers and customers in order to provide the best customer experience.

    Additional responsibilities include:
    • Partners with Store and Department managers to execute seasonal Prototype presentations
    • Executes departmental and storewide visual merchandising programs and departmental floor moves that will help engage the customer
    • Update and maintain mannequins/forms/presentations as dictated by new receipts or trends and targeted demographics.
    • Educate departments on Back to Basics standards, floor sets, merchandising and wallscaping
    • Execute cosmetics and promotional calendars.
    • Execute window presentations (where applicable)
    • Grid fixtures/adjust accent lighting
    • Order visual properties following Corporate guidelines
    • Perform daily morning floor walk of entire store to determine tasks to be accomplished, i.e. presentations are properly maintained
    • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the stock/work area
    • Attend meetings and training sessions with Corporate Visual
    • Email communication and basic paper work
     
    Job Requirements
    Successful candidates for the Retail Visual Specialist role should have the ability and desire to actively engage customers through storewide visual merchandising programs.

    Additional requirements of the Retail Visual Specialist include:
    • Experience in merchandising and styling, with knowledge of current trends.
    • 2 years of visual merchandising experience (preferably a department store environment).
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
    • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, highly organized with an attention to detail.
    • Ability to read and understand floor plans and planograms.
    • Comfortable operating a computer, open to learning new programs and systems.
    • Ability to work as part of a team, or independently with little supervision.
