Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     You will be funded by an outstanding practice group that provide full support financially (including billing, practice costs, set up and more) as well as receiving support operationally, giving you the space to focus on what matters most providing the best hearing care to your patients.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Establish and develop a new audiology practice, including but not limited to location selection, setup and operations management.
    • Provide comprehensive audiological evaluations, diagnostics, and personalized treatment plans to patients of all ages.
    • Dispense and fit hearing aids and assistive listening devices, ensuring optimal function and satisfaction for each individual.
    • Create and develop the patient book from the beginning of the journey with your new practice.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, providing ongoing support and guidance throughout their hearing healthcare journey.
    • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, community organizations, and referral sources to promote awareness of hearing health and our services.
    Essential Requirements

    • Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
    • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in audiology.
    • Demonstrated experience in clinical audiology, including diagnostic testing, hearing aid fittings, and patient counseling.
    • Minimum of 1.5 years experience post doctorate
