Audiologist evaluates, diagnoses, and treats a variety of hearing, balance, and ear disorders. Administers and interprets a variety of tests, such as air and bone conduction, speech reception, and discrimination tests to determine the type and degree of hearing impairment, site of damage, and effects on comprehension and speech. Being an Audiologist evaluates test results in relation to behavioral, social, educational, and medical information obtained from patients, families, teachers, and other professionals. Reviews charts, test results, and other patient data to understand issues and develop treatment programs to alleviate symptoms and treat disorders. Additionally, Audiologist monitors and evaluates treatment progress and adjusts care plan as necessary. Programs, fits, and adjusts hearing aids for customers. May require Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) in some states. Requires a master's degree in audiology. Typically requires Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). Requires State License based on Clinical Specialty. Typically reports to a manager. Audiologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Energetic, personable audiologist to perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations including hearing loss prevention, hearing loss assessment, and specialized testing for young children. Hearing aid services are also available. Working within our ENT clinic, provides advantage to see our ENT specialist at any time.
The Audiologist will also receive support from an instrument specialist as well as staff members that have completed the Certificate Program for Otolaryngology Personal (CPOP) course to assist with basic hearing testing allowing the audiologist to focus on complex audiometric testing, advanced hearing, and balances services.
Competitive base salary and generous bonus with 50% of net income profit sharing structure. Offering a $10,000 sign on bonus!
