Auditing Director executes a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Being an Auditing Director engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Prepares audit reports and recommends enhanced controls or processes as needed. Additionally, Auditing Director builds auditing teams and expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). May sometimes require Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Typically reports to a director. The Auditing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Job Summary: This position is responsible for promoting the Fairmount Homes vision and mission among constituents and developing a strong financial support base. This position also coordinates fund-raising for the facility. Due to the nature of the position, weekday working hours may vary and some weekend hours will be necessary. The Stewardship Director relates coordinatively with other personnel in the retirement community, particularly administration.

Employment Qualifications: Must have an interest in gerontology and working with older adults. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in experience is preferred. A knowledge and/or interest in planned giving is required. Computer proficiency is a plus. Must support the mission and values of Fairmount Homes. Must have a good understanding of the Mennonite church and an appreciation for the Weaverland Conference Old Order Mennonite church in specific, its program, its purpose and its people.
