Auditing Director executes a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Being an Auditing Director engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Prepares audit reports and recommends enhanced controls or processes as needed. Additionally, Auditing Director builds auditing teams and expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). May sometimes require Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Typically reports to a director. The Auditing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Auditing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     The Director of Nursing plans, organizes, develops, and directs the overall operation of the Nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.

    • Must be currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Nebraska. Must maintain an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing throughout employment.
    • Must have supervisory experience in a long-term care setting preferable as a DON in Nebraska
    • Must have strong leadership skills and be able to lead a team of nursing staff, as well as help foster a team atmosphere with the nursing division
    • Must be able to teach and lead by example on all shifts
    • Liaisons with residents, families, support departments, etc. to adequately plan for resident needs
    • Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the long term care facility in Nebraska
    • Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
    • Must be very knowledgeable in state reporting and developing and implementing plan of corrections
    • Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
    • Displays integrity and professionalism in all things
