Auditing Director executes a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Being an Auditing Director engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Prepares audit reports and recommends enhanced controls or processes as needed. Additionally, Auditing Director builds auditing teams and expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). May sometimes require Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Typically reports to a director. The Auditing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an Auditing Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     Responsibilities:

    ❧Create an appropriate and strong team for the School and promote an internal organization that enables effective communication.

    ❧Lead by example and is a role model reflecting the values associated with the Montessori method.

    ❧Lead continuous educational innovation for MEC

    ❧Be inspirational and accessible to members of school community

    .❧Act as liaison and manage relationships with students, faculty and parents in accordance with Montessori philosophy.

    ❧Handle any potential crisis and use supervision in a constructive manner.

    ❧Work with Head Teachers to coordinate curriculum.

    ❧Help guide Head Teachers in achieving their educational goals.

    ❧Coordinate and attend Lead Teachers meetings.

    ❧Serve as liaison between teachers and parents to resolve classroom issues

    .❧Maintain school discipline policy in a consistent and respectful manner.

    ❧Establish and promote a culture of global citizenship and awareness at the School.

    ❧Provide on-going communication and feedback to Head of School

    • Provide leadership in enrollment management, which includes marketing, recruitment, and admissions; oversee the processes of attracting, selecting, enrolling and retaining students/families at MEC
    • Manage the application process for new families including application processing, answering questions, communicating clear expectations and maintaining the admissions database
    • Plan and conduct interviews with prospective families coordinating with the Head of School, Management, Director and the Lead Teachers as needed.
    • Manage new student enrollment and re-enrollment of current students in close connection with the Head of School, Management, academic directors.
    • Maintain data and information on all aspects of the admissions and re-enrollment process from year to year.
    • Set and work towards annual admission goals in accordance with the school’s mission to promote economic, racial and ethnic diversity in the student body and based on the school’s overarching goals for enrollment
    • Support the creation of an annual budget by providing detailed enrollment projections, admissions related expenses and fee revenue
    • Understand and inform school leadership about current research, demographics, and admission and enrollment trends
    • Oversee all on and off campus events including Prospective Family Coffees, visitations, school fairs, community building events and more.
    • Manage parent volunteers, faculty and staff, students and others who participate in admissions related events
    • Oversee the management and creation of admission publications and materials, both print and electronic, working closely with the Management.
    • Extends him/her-self beyond the responsibilities of the job description and assists the Head of School and the Management with all other administrative duties as assigned.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $41,600.00 - $62,400.00 per year
