  • The Director of Marketing is responsible for shaping the brand, developing and executing marketing strategies, and driving market penetration for our newly created Upper Limb business uint. This role will work collaboratively with local and global stakeholders in Marketing, Sales, Clinical and Strategy to achieve overall corporate goals. This role is responsible for 3 direct reports and reports directly to the Vice President of Lower Limb Prosthetics. Responsibilities: Develop and execute marketing plans to meet the upper limb prosthetic business unit goals and objectives as established through sales, market share, and profit targets. Work with critical stakeholders to develop key customer strategy, communication, and execution of tactical plans and tools to support selling efforts. Communicate strategy and direction with our counterparts in Lower Limb Prosthetics Conduct market research to identify opportunities and trends. Collaborate with the global marketing team to align market strategies with overall objectives. Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong and cohesive brand identity blending a newly acquired entity with existing corporate branding. Spearhead value-added programs for specific customer targets that position Ossur as the prosthetic company of choice. Responsible for the evaluation and effectiveness management of marketing tools. Manage marketing collateral, including brochures, videos, and online content. Devise and manage media plans to accelerate growth and capture a leadership presence in the industry. Work with product management to leverage two strong product brands and to bring new products and technologies to market. Develop and maintain professional relations with key industry and customer influencers. Formulate successful industry trade show plans, including messaging and goals, to ensure the greatest exposure to key audiences. Build a quality athlete/spokesperson (champion) team through a selection of key members, secure contracts, and advance media opportunities. Lead the development of strategic sponsorship opportunities and foster key relationships. Lead and direct all public relations and media communications activities in promoting upper limb products and company advantages. Develop and execute product launch strategies and communication. Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of company data, including new product information, marketing strategies, pricing information, and other business proprietary information. Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree is required. Minimum 7-10 years of increasing responsibility and proven success in marketing and sales or equivalent in the healthcare industry. Challenging launches and niche marketing should be an integral part of this individual's success track record. Demonstrated ability to lead a marketing team and take primary responsibility for setting and guiding strategic plans. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Demonstrated task management and organizational skills. Computer literate in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with desktop publishing a plus. Some travel required. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $109,982 - $141,094 bonus benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
