Auditing Director executes a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Being an Auditing Director engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Prepares audit reports and recommends enhanced controls or processes as needed. Additionally, Auditing Director builds auditing teams and expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). May sometimes require Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Typically reports to a director. The Auditing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Learning to Learn Preschool & Childcare Center has been operating in Petaluma since 1984. Our play-based programs serve children 2 years old through 5 years old and are designed to support the development of the whole child. The school curriculum focuses on developing the academic, social, emotional, and physical skills of our students. Learning to Learn is a fun and lively environment to work in. The primary duties of the Director are those which have to do with maintaining the quality of the program and overseeing staff.

Qualifications
An BA or AA in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, a minimum of two years of teaching experience, one year of which shall be in a supervisory capacity, and 3 units in school administration. Previous bookkeeping experience is preferred. Personal skills in dealing with children, parents, and staff in a friendly, courteous, and respectful manner. Possess leadership qualities and the ability to motivate staff to reach their potential. Have the ability to provide an environment which is nurturing to both children and staff.
