Auditing Director executes a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Being an Auditing Director engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Prepares audit reports and recommends enhanced controls or processes as needed. Additionally, Auditing Director builds auditing teams and expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). May sometimes require Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Typically reports to a director. Little
Pirates Childcare Center is a 501c(3) organization seeking to employ a Child
Care Director to teach and supervise children, motivating them to use their
mental capacities and exercise their imagination. This position would
collaborate and report to the Board of directors.
The ideal candidate has:
Responsibilities
● Design and follow a full
schedule of activities and discover suitable teaching materials
● Balance teaching between
logical and social exercises
● Provide basic care and
caregiving activities
● Use a wide range of teaching
methods to enhance the child’s abilities (stories, media, indoor or outdoor
games, drawing, etc.)
● Evaluate children’s
performance to make sure they are reaching developmental milestones
● Keeping records of each
child’s progress, interests and any problems that may occur
● Observe interactions and
promote the inclusion of all children
● Identify behavioral problems
and determine the right course of action
● Collaborate with other
colleagues
● Adhere with teaching
standards and safety regulations as established by the official sources
● Ensuring the children have
good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
● Cleaning interactive areas
throughout the day
● Serving meals and snacks for
the kids
● Update parents on the
progress of their children. Contacting parents in the case of an emergency
Education (at least one)
● Bachelors in a field of
education or human development
● Two-year degree in early childhood education
● Child Development Associate credential or
comparable credential, as determined by the department
● Hold certification in a specific child
learning philosophy and have at least one year of experience in a child care
setting
● Child development technician diploma
● Four years of experience in a center or school
age program
Management Skills
● Conduct staffing performance
reviews and provide feedback
● Promote positivity and
teamwork
● Keep budget in compliance
with state regulations
● Track finances and
communicate financial status with the board
● Find grant opportunities
available to childcare programs like Little Pirates
● Be able to react and
determine the best course of action in emergency situations
