Being an Auditing Director engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Prepares audit reports and recommends enhanced controls or processes as needed. Additionally, Auditing Director builds auditing teams and expertise with coaching and developmental initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). May sometimes require Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). Typically reports to a director. The Auditing Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Maintenance Director was established for the purpose/s of planning, organizing and directing the maintenance, repair and alteration of building material, equipment and grounds; serving as the representative in planning and developing facilities and repair of equipment, low volt electrical issues and if any, new construction; ensuring that jobs are performed with accuracy, professional standards and meeting regulatory requirements, State and Federal.
The Director of Maintenance holds an upper-level management position. This job role is responsible for making sure that buildings and their services meet the needs of the residents that reside within and the staff that work in them. Maintenance Directors or Plant Facilities Directors are accountable for services such as cleaning, security and parking, to make sure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work and meets State and Federal regulations for Life Safety Code compliance. We are looking for that individual who is self-driven, is motivated and positive and requires little supervision to understand the needs of the staff, the building and the residents.
