Auditing Project Lead leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities in accordance with organization's policies and standards. Being an Auditing Project Lead prepares auditing reports and suggestions to management. Provides oversight and guidance for auditors and may be responsible for training staff. Additionally, Auditing Project Lead ensures standard auditing practices are followed. Requires a bachelor's degree. May sometimes require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)credential. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Auditing Project Lead supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department.     General Description of Duties and Responsibilities

    The Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Coordinator will work directly with the Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Strategic Initiatives Coordinator, and division principals to cultivate a robust K-12 STEM education program, preparing students to pursue their God-given gifts and talents in dynamic, student-centric, inquiry-based learning environments. The PLTW Coordinator will lead program development including in the Pathways Program, teacher training, and carry a primary responsibility of classroom teaching to support school-wide strategic initiatives in alignment with the school mission, vision, and core values.

    Classification: The PLTW Coordinator position is a full-time, school-year faculty position reporting to the High School Principal for teaching responsibilities.

    Essential Job Requirements

    • Serve as a spiritual leader and role model to students, parents, faculty, and staff while demonstrating the fruits of a Spirit-controlled life found in Galatians.
    • Build and deliver a cohesive K-12 STEM program that focuses on fundamental skills, problem-solving, critical thinking, innovation, and provides competition opportunities.
    • The coordinator will become a PLTW instructor teaching the nationally certified STEM curriculum.
    • Lead and coach other STEM teachers including Elementary STEM and Computer Science teachers.
    • Hold regular team meetings as directed
    • Ensure vertical alignment of STEM curriculum
    • Collaborate with other subject area experts to provide interdisciplinary opportunities for STEM integration
    • Ensure implementation of the PLTW curriculum
    • Specifically responsible for teaching Biomedical STEM and other related courses.
    • Provide weekly lesson plans with clear objectives and learning strategies.
    • Apply instructional techniques appropriate for the ages and skill levels of students.
    • Include Biblical integration in lesson plans
    • Evaluate student performance and growth in knowledge and understanding while preparing regular progress reports and grades.
    • Serve as a mentor and advisor to the Medical Pathway students.
    • Serve as the primary leader of Lego League
    • Support and train other teacher coaches
    • Expand team participation
    • Attend staff development meetings, curriculum development planning, and other professional development activities.

    Qualifications

    Spiritual

    • Must have a clear testimony of personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior
    • Must be able to demonstrate active membership and involvement in an evangelical local church

    Education

    • Required: Valid ACSI certificate, Florida teaching certificate, or an ability to convert a certificate from another state
    • Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in STEM/science or math and experience leading robotics programs

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $42,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
