Auditing Project Lead leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities in accordance with organization's policies and standards. Being an Auditing Project Lead prepares auditing reports and suggestions to management. Provides oversight and guidance for auditors and may be responsible for training staff. Additionally, Auditing Project Lead ensures standard auditing practices are followed. Requires a bachelor's degree. May sometimes require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)credential. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Auditing Project Lead supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Auditing Project Lead typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Language Coordinator
Position: Language Coordinator
Organization: The Immigration Project
Job Location: Hybrid. Must work in person at least twice per week in our Champaign, IL, Normal, IL, or Springfield IL office. Some remote work authorized.
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hrs/wk.
Approximately 10:00AM-6:00PM, some flexibility.
Exact scheduled TBD based on applicant availability.
Salary Range: $33,500.00 annual (Additional bonus available for trilingual applicants)

● Bilingual Spanish/ English

Position Description and Duties
Respond to telephone and email requests in multiple languages
Schedule and reschedule appointments as needed
Schedule interpretation for appointments from a database of volunteer interpreters and translators
Assign translation of documents from a request form to volunteer translators
Recruit and train volunteer translators and interpreters.
Add new interpreters and remove old to keep database up to date
Manage the language line and billing for paid interpretation resources
Understand and communicate to clients the requirements for various types of immigration relief
Coordinate with legal staff to collect evidentiary documents prior to appointments
Work with the volunteer coordinator to schedule interpretation for workshops
