Go Maverick Group is seeking an engaging and experienced System Admin to join a dynamic and agile team of IT support specialists for an engineered products company in Cleveland. This role is a combination of both tactical and strategic IT; Not only supporting day-to-day IT tasks holistically, but also helping with the strategic planning of future updates, system migrations, and Cybersecurity initiatives across the company.
As the System Administrator / Lead, you will report directly to the Director of IT, and be indirectly responsible for other members of the IT staff, including Network Engineering and Help Desk. Your primary role will be supporting the cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including:
You will be leading efforts to improve practical Cybersecurity (SSO, MDM, SIEM, etc.), and also help to identify and implement newer versions of core systems as needed (HRIS, ERP, PDM/PLM, etc.).
In a nutshell, you will own the current support and future roadmapping of all systems in the company, playing a very strategic role in helping the company modernize and secure their IT operations.
This role has tremendous potential for growth, not only in the IT group, but also as a strategic business partner for the rest of the company as the voice of IT in business planning and operations. As such, your soft skills and business acumen are just as important in the success of this role as your hard technical skills.
