Auditing Project Lead leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities in accordance with organization's policies and standards. Being an Auditing Project Lead prepares auditing reports and suggestions to management. Provides oversight and guidance for auditors and may be responsible for training staff. Additionally, Auditing Project Lead ensures standard auditing practices are followed. Requires a bachelor's degree. May sometimes require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)credential. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Auditing Project Lead supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Auditing Project Lead typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities:
- Plans, design, and facilititates the execution of new building designs and/or building additions, or renovations according to client's needs, desires, and finanical resources.
- Collaborate with clients to determine project requirements and objectives
- Develop architectural designs and plans using CAD / Revit, and other software tools
- Create sketches and drafts to visualize design concepts
- Prepare construction documents, including detailed drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient completion
- Review and approve material samples, finishes, and other design elements
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Skills:
- Proficient in sketching, drafting, Revit, AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles and design techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction
- Ability to negotiate with contractors and vendors for project needs
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in design work
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during the design process
- Familiarity with budgeting and cost estimation for architectural projects
- Licensed Architect encouraged but not required
