Auditing Project Lead jobs in Springfield, IL

Auditing Project Lead leads a group of auditors who identify risk, assess performance, prepare financial reports in various complex auditing projects. Schedules audit plans and builds audit criteria, ensures all auditing activities in accordance with organization's policies and standards. Being an Auditing Project Lead prepares auditing reports and suggestions to management. Provides oversight and guidance for auditors and may be responsible for training staff. Additionally, Auditing Project Lead ensures standard auditing practices are followed. Requires a bachelor's degree. May sometimes require the Certified Public Accountant (CPA)credential. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Auditing Project Lead supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be an Auditing Project Lead typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     Human Resources Management:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy and confidentiality regulations.
    Ensure adherence to labor laws, employment contracts, and other legal requirements related to employment. Administrative Operations:
    Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions, including office supplies, facilities maintenance, and equipment management.
    Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for office services, supplies, and maintenance. Health and Safety:
    Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and create a safe working environment for employees.
    Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures. Budget and Resource Management:
    Manage the HR and administrative budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective operations.
    Allocate resources effectively to meet departmental and organizational needs. Communication and Coordination:
    Facilitate effective communication between management, employees, and various departments.
    Collaborate with senior management to align HR and administrative strategies with overall organizational goals. Policy Development:
    Develop and update organizational policies and procedures related to HR, administration, and workplace practices. Employee Engagement:
    Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
    Several years of relevant experience in HR and administration, with a proven track record in leadership and management.
    Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
    Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software and MS Office suite.
    Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
    Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    Strong organizational and time management skills.
    The HR and Administration Manager role is instrumental in fostering a positive work environment, maintaining compliance with regulations, and facilitating the smooth operation of an organization's administrative functions.
