SUMMARY: The restaurant supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the activities of restaurant staff, expediting customers' orders as needed, and maintaining good working relationships with customers.
As Supervisor, you will assist the Head Coach (Owner) by leading and coaching the team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations during your shift, which may include leading a team and managing the kitchen, customer experience, and/or online ordering. You will be responsible for modeling and acting professional.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:
1. Leadership: Lead by example by demonstrating compliance to policy and work standards. Motivate staff though positive enforcement.
2. Problem Solving: Take initiative to find a resolution to problem or challenges. Must be able to handle the pressures of simultaneously coordinating a wide range of activities and recommend appropriate solutions to restaurant problems
3. Personnel: Provide direction to employees. Mange workflow to ensure employee are completing their tasks. Assist with staff training. Help solve staffing needs.
4. Food safety and Food Preparation: Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness inside of the restaurant and in outside dining area. Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality of food preparation and service. Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards. Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
5. Guest service: Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, take appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guest
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar work environment. A combination of practical experience and education will be preferred. Knowledge of computers (MS Word, Excel). Must be eligible to work in the United States.
