Auditing Supervisor supervises the day-to-day execution of a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Supports auditing teams with resources, training, expertise, and problem-solving help to complete auditing projects. Being an Auditing Supervisor uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Additionally, Auditing Supervisor prepares audit reports, documentation, and recommendations for enhanced controls or processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require or be working towards a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to a manager. Interview, hire, train, and orient new team member to their job. Evaluate and oversee job performance. Responsible for assisting team members with goal setting and development plans. Conduct group and individual training as to Policies and Procedures, equipment, and area set up. Meet labor objectives while achieving guest satisfaction. Must be able to write and cost out a department schedule. Prepare documentation for labor cost when necessary. Understand the food costing program and work to ensure goals are met. Order supplies and maintains par stock and inventory control. Understand and follow all Policies and Procedures dictated by the administration and suggest and initiate necessary changes and improvements. Act in relation to team members, guests, and/or the general public in a manner consistent with the best interests of the restaurant and beverage service. Insure team member safety by providing a clean, safe, healthy environment. Must be an expert on guest satisfaction and guest recovery. Responsible for the cleanliness of entire facility.
