Auditing Supervisor supervises the day-to-day execution of a comprehensive enterprise-wide internal auditing strategy, function, and practice adhering to auditing standards and regulatory requirements. Supports auditing teams with resources, training, expertise, and problem-solving help to complete auditing projects. Being an Auditing Supervisor uses auditing governance frameworks and procedures to plan and manage the auditing schedules, projects, teams, and tasks required to meet defined objectives. Engages with other functions across the enterprise, like risk, finance, information technology, and security, to facilitate audits. Additionally, Auditing Supervisor prepares audit reports, documentation, and recommendations for enhanced controls or processes. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require or be working towards a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Typically reports to a manager. The Auditing Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Auditing Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Job Description:
This is a full-time position that requires being on-call 24/7/365. Position requires occasional travel, working holidays and inclement weather. You must be able to communicate effectively with employees and railroad officials to complete various railroad jobs while maintaining safety. Also, overseeing the maintenance of trucks and heavy equipment.
Emergency response duties will include re-railing cars, clearing derailments, changing wheels on railcars, installing traction motors, and installing idlers on locomotives. This job also includes environmental cleanup, railcar load adjustments, managing clean-up of mudslides and rock slides. This job encompasses managing all railroad services and emergencies.
Qualifications:
· Must have valid Driver’s License.
· Live within 45 minutes of Donahue Division.
· Be able to pass drug test and random tests.
· Be able to respond to railroad emergencies 24/7/365.
· Be able to meet physical demands of the position
· Be willing to travel.
· Knowledge of trucks and equipment.
· Communication skills.
· Knowledge of construction, heavy equipment, and cranes.
· Railroad experience is preferred, but not required.
