Support all commercial aspects of the sales function across the business. Comprehend the efficient management and co-ordination of customer/prospect pricing and requirements. Working with the Commercial team to provide and develop the businesses commercial framework to cover all aspects of facility pricing.

Primary Duties

• Provide market-based pricing based upon commercial tools, CRM software, dashboards, real market feedback, and industry knowledge
• Partner with plant management for effective job and work order creation to analyze production capabilities and calculate correct production rates, weights and sizes that affects each individual process

• Support Sales Team with customer data and prices for tenders and customer reviews
• Review standards against actual capabilities/production rates
• Provide quotations to our clients, ensuring all necessary background information is obtained, including, where appropriate, consultation with design, sales, and the operations team
• Dependable team player that works well with multiple departments
• Coordinate with Customer Service to accurately gather all the information needed to create an accurate estimate
• Provide proactive, strong, well composed commercial support to the sales teams.
• Communicate with customers as needed to gather information needed to provide a quality estimate
• Develop and deploy commercial tools to support business improvement and growth
• Effective daily communication with customers/prospects as needed and internal Smurfit Kappa departments; also supporting the Sales Team as required in analysis and customer profile reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• English proficient
• Minimum 3 years in B2B environment
• Microsoft office skills
• Understanding of the end-to-end sales
• Ability to translate commercial data into action
• Excellent analytical skills
• Self-driven management

• Persevering, resilient and constant follow up of the sales process
