We're in need of an Estimator at Northeast Power Dry, and it's urgent that they have expertise in Xactimate. As an Estimator with us, your role involves analyzing plans for various industrial construction projects. Your responsibilities include producing precise cost estimates and having reconstruction experience. Collaboration is key as you'll closely liaise with project managers and reconstruction managers. and clients to ensure projects are completed successfully within budget limits.

• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to perform complex calculations and accurately estimate costs.
• Utilize construction estimating software such as XACTIMATE to streamline the estimation process
• Coordinating internal pre/post-production efforts
• Familiarity with estimating software and tools for generating cost estimates and proposals.
• Assisting customers through the insurance claims process
• Ensure through effective liaison relationship, insurance adjuster approves estimate
• Managing subcontractors, insurance companies, coworkers, and customers
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and implement cost control measures as needed
• Work closely with project managers to provide ongoing support and guidance during the construction phase
• Maintaining safety standards at all times

Education & Experience:

• Level 1 Xactimate experience is a must
• Reconstruction and Construction estimating experience
• Note: While a degree is preferred, Northeast Power Dry recognizes that life/work experience speaks volumes to a candidate’s capabilities
