General requirements:
Highly motivated individual able to self-direct their role in Maintenance.
Repair and maintain all equipment and infrastructure associated with the fabrication of glass products. Diagnose problems with the equipment and make necessary repairs and updates to the equipment.
Work on various duties as assigned duties in industrial maintenance.
Highly focused on maintaining all equipment, facilities, and the company’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Help build, use, and maintain the company’s CMMS.
Ability to rebuild components associated with repairs, as is necessary and in a cost effective manner.
Fabricate repair parts using shop equipment.
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on a daily basis. Analyze the data from the PM’s and make recommendations for the purchase of parts and upkeep needed to prevent untimely breakdowns.
Must have good communication skills with the ability to discuss the issues and receive recommendations from OEM’s.
Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform all work with SAFETY as an essential and mandatory part of the role.
Must be able to work in a Scheduled “ON CALL” System to assure all shifts have required Maintenance as needed.
Specifics:
Be well versed in the major operating structures.
Complete all safety training and make recommendation to improve company safety program as appropriate. Use “Lockout Tag Out” and “Fall Protection” programs in performance of the job duties.
Knowledge in the use of common tools and equipment needed in the performance of the duties for Industrial Maintenance.
Job history: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Industrial Maintenance Field.
Education and experience: Associates Degree in Maintenance, Industrial, Electronics, or Engineering Technology preferred. In lieu of formal education additional experience in the field is required.
Equipment List examples: Glass Tempering Ovens, Glass Edge Polishers, Waterjet, Computer Numerical Controlled Glass Cutting, Overhead Cranes, and Forklifts.
