Empire Automotive Group Toyota Mazda Auto mall Green Brook, NJ: Sales Administration and Inventory Control

As our group grows, we need the right person to manage our new and used car inventory to ensure that a right mix of vehicles are in stock, on order from the manufacturer, and/or being shipped and on the way to us. Keeps accurate records of vehicle inventory, coordinates inventory allocations. 

Your Daily Work Schedule:

• Negotiates inventory swaps with other franchised new car dealers. 
• Processing and receiving payments for cars swapped.
• Understands and reacts to market conditions.
• Analyzes the relationship between inventory, cost, and profits.
• Takes physical inventory of vehicles on hand.
• Maintains records of vehicle status/readiness for sale.
• Monitors what vehicles are selling, what is not, and why.
• Orders vehicles of desired make/model/color.
• Processes paperwork on a timely basis.
• Reports retail deliveries to manufacturer.
• Keeps manager informed of inventory status and issues.
• Trains and supervises employees as assigned.
• Attends required manager meetings.
• Maintains effective relations and communication with other staff.
• Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.
• Participates in required training.
• Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system.
• Follows “Safeguards” rules and regulations.
• Demonstrates the company’s core values.
• Complies with company policies and procedures.
• Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

• Must have an excellent attendance record and a commitment to being on time.
• You understand the importance of listening and being empathetic while leading.
• You have strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
• You have experience providing outstanding customer service by showcasing expertise, fostering trust, and growing customer satisfaction.
• You have at least three years of prior employment in the automotive industry.
• You have friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude.
• You are open to constructive feedback to improve your performance and development.
• Flexible with work scheduling and availability to work weekends and holidays.
• You have strong computer and multitasking skills, which includes Microsoft Office.
• You will operate a clean, organized, presentable workplace with a strong attention to details.
• You have shown stability in the job industry, growing in each position you worked.
• You have a valid and clean NY state driver’s license and pass a drug and background check.
