Automotive Glass Installer/Repairer checks, installs, and repairs damaged glass parts of vehicles. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Being an Automotive Glass Installer/Repairer may be required to be licensed or to complete an apprenticeship in an area of specialty. Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Additionally, Automotive Glass Installer/Repairer has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. As an Auto Glass Technician, you will
- Repair and replace auto glass through approved methods, tools, and techniques
- Perform ADAS recalibration as needed after windshield replacements
- Ensure equipment, materials and areas of operation comply with all regulations and requirements
- Ship and receive inventory, examine received inventory for quality control
- Provide exceptional customer service to every guest, every time
- Perform all other duties as assigned
You will need
- State issued Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical Requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, standing, bending, long periods of time on your feet
