Aviation Manager manages overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Develops plans and schedules skill development and training sessions for pilots, crews, and operators. Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Aviation Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. You meet these requirements:
- Proven ability to drive positive results
- Minimum 3 years restaurant management experience
- Proven ability to direct, motivate, coach and develop others in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to run great shifts
- Demonstrated understanding of the business
- ServSafe certification (or ability to pass)
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs., and be able to bend, reach, push, pull, and stand for long periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
