Description
This position requires multitasking as well as a strong ability to collaborate in a team environment. The Aviation Editor ("AE") is responsible for completing aviation responsibilities, such as new book editions, online course creation, blog writing, and special projects. Must be deadline driven and detail oriented. The AE must have a pilot background and and editing skills.
There are some customer service duties such as conversing online with clients and working with flight schools and universities who use or are considering using Gleim Aviation products. There may be some travel to air shows from time to time. This role will help plan for and meet deadlines while also meeting or exceeding FAA requirements and customer expectations.
The AE is responsible for handling customer inquiries about Gleim products, tracking and implementing necessary revisions to Gleim products, and producing new content when necessary. The AE will also research aviation topics upon request and report back with suggestions for revisions, new products, and/or competitiveness in the aviation training market.
