Aviation Manager manages overall aviation operations focused on operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory and organizational operating policies, procedures, and standards. Develops plans and schedules skill development and training sessions for pilots, crews, and operators. Being a Aviation Manager ensures all operations follow and comply with current FAA regulations, airworthiness, and safety standards. Oversees flight scheduling, aircraft maintenance, and inspection operations. Additionally, Aviation Manager applies risk management best practices for safety to assess and manage operations May require a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to senior management. The Aviation Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.     5. Leadership: Lead project teams to achieve program goals, foster communication, motivation, and teamwork within the organization.

    Qualifications:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business with Project Management focus.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Program/Project Management.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other Microsoft Office tools.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to read blueprints/CAD models and understand GD&T principles.
