JOB PURPOSE
To manage all functions of the Structures Department to provide aircraft structural repair and replacement.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods. Requires occasional bending, climbing, stooping, squatting, crouching, or kneeling. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Work Location: Aircraft maintenance hangar, maintenance offices, sheet metal shop, and flight line.
Potential Hazards: Exposure to high-intensity noise levels, extreme temperature changes, materials identified on Material Safety Data Sheets, and working around moving machinery.
Protective Equipment Required: Ear protection, eye protection.
