Bakery Clerk responds and attends to customer requests in the bakery department within a grocery store. Responsible for various duties including preparing baked goods and other items for sale, arranging and wrapping bakery products, and placing bakery items in display cases. Being a Bakery Clerk may operate machines such as bread slicers. Has knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Additionally, Bakery Clerk may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bakery Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Responsibilities:
- Main task for the day is Filling the bakery case and orders. You will be responsible for Icing, powdering, decorating doughnuts. Cutting out doughnuts from dough to fry. Will also assist with icing, baking cookies or other tasks as needed. Everyone is the bakery is responsible for cleaning and dishes throughout the day.
Requirements:
- ability to work midnight shift 12:30-9:30am, varies by day of the week
- Ability to work on your feet all day
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and consistency in baked goods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members and customers

Note: Previous experience in a bakery or food service setting is a plus, but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 1:30 -9am, Friday and Saturday 12:30-8am
