Bakery Clerk responds and attends to customer requests in the bakery department within a grocery store. Responsible for various duties including preparing baked goods and other items for sale, arranging and wrapping bakery products, and placing bakery items in display cases. Being a Bakery Clerk may operate machines such as bread slicers. Has knowledge of proper food handling procedures. Additionally, Bakery Clerk may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Bakery Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Different Twist Pretzel Mobile Bakery is a Mobile Pretzel Shop that is setup at large fun and exciting weekend outdoor events such as Music Festivals, Detroit Grand Prix, Boat Races, Art Fairs, City Festivals, Sporting Events, Fireworks, etc.
We have transitioned from a 10 year mall location to 3* _Mobile Pretzel Bakeries*_ that are booked at most large outdoor events around Metro Detroit and Southeastern Michigan.
All dough and pretzel products are made on-site at prime locations at fun and exciting outdoor events. Our products include: Original Salted, Cinnamon Sugar, Garlic Parmesan, Toasted Almond Crunch, Pepperoni Pretzels, Mozzarella Cheese Pretzels, Pretzel Pepperoni Rolls, Pretzel Dogs, Soft Drinks, and Icee.
We are expanding for our 2024 Summer Tour event schedule.
Responsibilities Include: Making dough, pretzel products, and serving customers.
This is a weekend position which hours vary depending on event hours.
Ideal for first or second income opportunity.
Average $400 per weekend.
Previous food experience is a plus,but its such an easy fun atmosphere that anyone can do it!!
Since we are MOBILE and NOT a fixed location, interviews are flexible and short held at Southland Mall, Local Tim Hortons, or at Event site.
