BAKERY CLERK/ BARISTA

Provide friendly , responsive service to create an extraordinary customer experience by making genuine connection with our guests, discussing our menu and making recommendations when appropriate. Also perform other duties in the areas of food, beverage, and final order preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES

• Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Ginger Fox
• Follow and practice all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and followed and
• completed on a timely basis
• Ensure that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times
• Receive orders and process guest payments
• Production of high quality hand crafted hot and iced beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, teas, etc.
• Communicate and cooperate with other team members for preparation of orders and completion of tasks
• Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Describe menu items to guest or suggest products that might appeal to them
• Provide guest with product details, such as ingredients and preparation descriptions without compromising intellectual properties
• Be responsive to customer complaints regarding food quality , service or accommodations in a manner consistent with Ginger Fox commitment to delivering legendary customer experience
• Keep customer areas clean
• Perform food preparation or service tasks, such as sandwich making, making house syrups, and bagging/boxing prepared foods.
• Mindfully limit, monitor, and record food and packaging waste for the benefit of the business’ success and the planet
• Set-up or restock product displays
• Stock guest service stations with paper products or beverage preparation items
• W rap, label, or date food items for sale
• Take out garbage, linens, compost and recycling
• Receive or stock supplies or retail products
• Ensure that all opening, closing, food preparation, and periodic maintenance checklists are completed with 100% attention to detail
• A ttend all scheduled team meetings
• Offers suggestions for continuous improvement of employee and guest experience
• Coordinate with team employees to meet customer needs and support the operation of the bakery
• Fill-in for team members where needed to ensure excellence in service and efficient operations.
• Ensure coverage of all assigned shifts
