Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Dog Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with animals, excellent grooming skills, and a keen eye for detail. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing grooming services according to each client's specific requests and breed standards while ensuring the safety and well-being of all pets in your care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform grooming services such as bathing, brushing, haircuts, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and gland expression for dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• Consult with clients to understand their grooming preferences and any specific needs or concerns regarding their pets.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including sanitizing tools and equipment between appointments.
• Monitor the health and condition of pets during grooming sessions and report any concerns to the pet owner or veterinarian.
• Educate clients on proper grooming techniques and recommend products or services to help maintain their pet's appearance and health.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients warmly, answering questions, and addressing any issues or complaints.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working as a professional dog groomer is preferred.
• Knowledge of different dog breeds, coat types, and grooming techniques.
• Knowledge of animal behavior and ability to safely handle dogs with different temperaments.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification from a recognized grooming school or program is a plus.
