Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of bakery operations, including production, inventory management, and quality control
- Develop and execute production schedules to ensure timely delivery of fresh baked goods
- Train and supervise bakery staff on baking techniques, food handling procedures, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in the bakery
- Manage inventory levels and order ingredients and supplies as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to develop new products and improve existing recipes
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their bakery needs
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special orders in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase bakery revenue
Skills:
- Culinary expertise with a strong knowledge of baking techniques and recipes
- Experience in coffee preparation and knowledge of different coffee varieties
- Proficient in shift management, including scheduling, delegation, and supervision
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale software
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service
- Ability to cook a variety of baked goods from scratch using high-quality ingredients
- Knowledge of food service management principles and practices
- Excellent food handling skills to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
